Welcome to my new blog! I know that it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, so thanks for your patience. From now on I will be updating the blog here with this new and improved blog that will include videos and photos….
For my first entry – I am including a behind the scenes video that we made in South Carolina at the event I did with Coastal Living and Palmetto Bluff.

Tyler:
My wife and I attended the Palmetto Bluff “Music to Your Mouth” festival, and we can’t say enough good things about the spectacular event!
The food, the wine and the surroundings were unforgettable. Probably our favorite part was the personal feel you gave the event. You were so engaging with the hoi polloi, going out of your way to interact with those in attendance.
We can’t wait for next year!
PS: Tell Reid and Anthony, “Cheers!”

Love your cooking, Tyler. I made your roast chicken recipe for my thanksgiving dinner – my fiance doesn’t like turkey, so I just roasted two chickens and it was a HUGE hit! Thank-you so much for sharing your recipes and love of cooking with us.

Tyler,
Absolutely love your music and your video on your site. I have recently made a request for a “food 911″ or “food emergency”. It is “Osso Bucco” and your favorite side dishes to that meal. I’d love to learn how to make that dish as a romantic dinner for two and of course it would have to feature for dessert one of your famous cheesecakes!! I sent in a photo with my ‘food 911′ request. Take a peek and see if you’d be interested in helping a Southern gal out.
PS…still looking for someone to make that romantic meal for!!

Tyler,
I love watching your show, and am from Abbeville, SC. About 1 hour from Greenville. I was wondering where I could find a set of mixing bowls like the deep, clear glass ones that you use on “Tyler’s Ultimate”? Thanks!

Wow–loved the braised beef bourbon episode on food network. I will have to try making this, but with plain red potatoes:) You are an amazing Chez- can’t say enough about your style of cooking. I like watching you. I would like to see you and Giada DiLaurentis do an episode together-something italian and sexy. You two are at the top of my list of fav chezs. Keep the passion.

Tyler:
I have enloyed your show for a very long time and truly enjoyed your “Ultimate” shows where you traveled and showed several receipes for a dish and them came home and did your own “Ultimate”. In one of the beginning shows you did beef bourguignon. I thought I had save the recipe, but I cannot find it and it is not in your “Ulitimate” cookbook. Is there anyplace that I can find it.
I have all of your books and love your eclectic sytle.
Thanks so much for making me into a real foodie.

Hi Tyler!
I’m Liza from the Philippines. I love watching the Food Network especially your show Food 911. Cooking (and eating) is one of my passions, although I haven’t taken it as seriously as you did. I just love making good food and the satisfaction of serving it to someone is just wonderful. I decided to make this blog account just to tell you I love you, your show and the way you teach people to cook. How did you start you career? Hope to hear from you about that. It would really make me happy to correspond with you. Thanks and happy holidays!
Liza

Tyler – you’re right about Palmetto Bluff. That place is amazing. My husband and I go down from Raleigh and it’s the perfect getaway. We were there the week of your Lowcountry Festival but ended up leaving the day before….wanted to stay an extra couple of days to check it out but (I never thought I’d get a chance to say this on Christmas Day) there was no room at the inn….Anyway, hopefully you’ll do another event there soon. There really is no other place on earth like it.

One year, my husband came home from work with a turkey receipe he had printed off the Foood Network, to cook one year for Christmas. It was Awesome!!. Ever since that day we have had that turkey for thanksgiving and Christmas. The last year my husband was deployed to Iraq, and I missed his turkey almost as much as I missed him :^) He made it home for this Christmas and was pulling out the printout he had made several years ago to cook the turkey and decided to reprint a new copy. To our suprise, it was YOUR recipe for the Maple-Bacon Turkey and Cornbread Stuffing all along.
We have all three of your cook books, and try a new dish at least once a week.

My mom wants desparately to purchase the terra cotta bowls that you have on your show (the ones with an unfinished terra cotta and a ring of glaze on the outside).
Please help! She is asking me to find them now for months.

Hey Tyler,
I have a dilemma maybe you cna help with. Ravioli, yes Ravioli. I have recently remodeled my kitchen, it’s beautiful granite, stone floor and all Thermadore appliances. Now it’s time to step up to the plate and COOK, I recently received a pasta maker for my KitchenAid Mixer so I thought great lets make homemade Ravioli…how hard can it be. My pasta was good, filling great but when I made the Ravioli well lets just say they were ugly. Now yes this was the first time I made them but I consider myself a good cook, but I definitely need some help here. I have been watching all of your shows but haven’t seen one lately on how to make a good Ravioli.
Can you help me out???????

Tyler,
Enjoy watching both your shows. Great home style cooking. What a lovely family you have. I didn’t know you were married and had a new baby. How sweet!
I have a 911 problem maybe you can solve for me. I’ve been trying to bake from scratch. What is the screct to baking chocolate or vanilla/white cake. The end result is always lacking in flavor and texture. How do you achive the same result as using a box cake mix?
